In the red picture, you can see that typical eating and carbohydrate cravings come from eating foods that are processed and bring our sugar (insulin) levels up and down. This can cause the body to release energy very quickly, cause fatigue, hunger and the pattern goes on and on.  It makes it very hard to keep the weight off and is creating an environment that is setting your body up for diabetes.  Low glycemic eating causes slower energy release, better energy overall, more satiety and more sustained nutrient release thoughout the body.
